Control Strategy Based on Arm-Level Control for Output and Circulating Current of MMC in Stationary Reference Frame

چکیده

This paper proposed a control method for output and circulating currents of modular multilevel converter (MMC). The current are controlled with the help arm currents, which contain DC, fundamental frequency, double frequency components. is transformed into stationary reference frame (SRF) to isolate DC AC component conventional proportional resonant (PR) controller, while by controller. effective upper lower ultimately controls so that it delivers required power grid in such way second harmonic completely vanished leaving behind only component. Comparative results leg-level based on PR controller included show effectiveness scheme. A three-phase, five-level MMC developed MATLAB/Simulink verify method.
